Hi. 👋 I'm Carlyn, but you can call me Carly—we're there.

I'm a Chicago-based writer, content creator and social media pro by day, artist and TV-binger by night. I love what I do and I love my city (although I do put ketchup on Chicago hotdogs...don't tell anyone.)

From writing stories as a kid to telling brand stories now, the blank page has always been my playground. I've been fortunate enough to create copy and content for e-commerce pioneer Threadless and to manage a viral, global social media campaign for Shedd Aquarium that reached all seven continents...yes, even Antarctica.

The best testimonial I ever received was, "You're writing the copy on my tombstone."

Certifications

I have a professional certification in digital marketing from Northwestern University. I am also Hubspot certified in content marketing and social media, and hold a Google Analytics certification.
